Lipot was the name of the first and greatest psychiatric hospital in Hungary which also became the Hungarian synonime for madness. The huge hospital was suddenly closed one day after working very-very successfully for 150 years beasuse politicians of the govenrment wanted to sell it to get a huge amount of money for its site and so many of the patients were simply decided as being healthy and made to leave. This novel tells the story of those forgotten at a ward of the closed hospital who try to survive, and finally break out of the hospital ang go to the parliament and start talking at their plenary session. The story as a realistic drama tells how in the post-socialist era state property was privatized on one hand ont he other how simplicity and infantry is th ebest policy to become successful even a prime minister int he so-called democratic system.
